First thoughts...
Carnarvon looks like their should be crocodiles swimming everywhere. The mangroves and red dirt scream beware of crocs! thankfully no crocs but quite a few sharks apparently. beaches are closed due to a Tiger shark which is hanging around the local beaches.
I have visited a few schools and am waiting for the first phone call (fingers crossed).
Today I visited the 1 Mile Jetty. I was so excited to see a Sea Turtle who popped his head out and gave me a look before swimming on. Unfortunately I was too excited to get a decent photo.
Looking forward to other 'exciting' Carnarvon attractions. The Big Banana and Town Cemetery are listed as hot favourites. I'm sure there a plenty of things to see so I'll keep you posted!
