It was pretty darn cool. I'm not one for history, but this was interesting and fun! The very friendly volunteer Di, had me doing everything from a take off simulator to an astronaut hand eye coordination test. Videos and live computer footage from NASA were interesting and informative. I recommend this visit to any who pass through Carnarvon.
Who would have thought that the little town of Carnarvon played such an important role in the early space race!
