Today I took a trip to the Carnarvon Blowholes where I had the best snorkeling adventure so far! The amount of curious fish circling me was astounding. I also saw plenty of sea cucumbers and crabs along the way. This particular lagoon came up in a story told to me not long ago. One of the local teachers was swimming through the coral and looked up towards the beach and saw her friends waving and pointing. Thinking nothing of it she waved back and kept on snorkeling towards the shore. Once she arrived back the other teachers informed her that a big shark was following her through the coral. Let me tell you I kept an eye out whilst snorkeling and scared myself a couple of times when brushing up against some seaweed! Well worth the risk, absolutely brilliant!
