On Saturday we spent the day at Gnarloo Bay a hidden oasis of coral reef with so many fish and animals. We saw so many cool fish, we could have been in an aquarium! I got to test out my new waterproof recorder (aka knock off GoPro) so I took hours of footage and narrowed it down to 3 minutes. The footage does not do the coral justice!
We had some fun with board games Saturday night and we ate and drank like kings. We had a bit of a look see down at the beach as well I was determined to see some crabs; there was quite a few scuttling about too!
Sunday was spent exploring the rocky cliffs. The ocean water below was so pristine that you can see the fishies swimming about. We also spotted a turtle swimming about doing it's thing. And when I say 'we spotted'- I don't me me, I'm hopeless, singing out 'where' 'where' then finally getting the last minute glance before its swims off. I was very excited to see the turtles and dolphins swimming about and was told Red Bluff is a great place to spot whales. I will definitely be visiting again during whale season!
It was such a beautiful weekend and I'm so very lucky for the excellent company that I was able to keep this weekend.
Oh yeah.. we got bogged on the way out but girl power and pushing power conquered all.
